BIMEC Group Programs
4 Day Camp: This fun dive into the joy and fun of bluegrass is perfect for students who want to explore the unique energy of this genre and make music with others! Students will learn the basics of bluegrass, how to play with others, and more! Camp runs July 10th - 13th (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday), 1pm-2pm each day. 4 Day Camp: Tuning, strumming and rhythm basics, common chords, and simple finger picking, and more! Camp runs June 19th - 22nd (Monday - Thursday), 11am-12pm. (Click on class title to learn more!)

4 Day Camp: Build on your ukulele basics with an exploration of more techniques including additional strumming patters, fingerpicking skills, bar chords, and more! Perfect for students who can already transition smoothly between C, F, and G chords (especially if you've already taken our Beginning Ukulele class or camp!) Camp runs July 17th - 20th (Monday - Thursday), 11am-12pm each day. (Click on class title to learn more!)

4 Day Camp: Tap into your inner music producer and learn the ins and outs of making your own music! Students will be introduced to FL studios, learn how to structure chords and melodies, sequence drums, and arrange a project from start to finish. We can't wait to hear what you'll create! Camp runs July 10th - 13th (Monday - Thursday), 11am-12pm. (Click on class title to learn more!)

Music History Camp explores music from the ancient world to the present day and will help students immerse themselves in music and knowledge from different periods. This camp allows students to experience the evolution of music throughout history, introducing them to new favorites in a fun, interactive way! Open to students of all ages, and at all levels! Camp runs July 25th - 28th (Tuesday-Friday), 1:30pm-2:30pm each day. (Click on class title to learn more!)

4 Day Camp: Calling all guitar, bass, keyboard, drum players and singers! There's a place for you in our Summer Rock Band Camp! Students will jam, record, and perform in a band with guidance and coaching from our experienced instructors! This camp will be open to students of all ages, including adults! Camp runs one day a week for 4 weeks: July 7th, 14th, 21st, and 28th, 2-3pm. (Click on class title to learn more!)

4 Day Camp: Come learn new ways to play your instrument at our jazz camp! From improvisation to jazz language and culture, you won't want to miss this fun exploration of the magic of jazz! Camp runs June 12th - 15th (Monday - Thursday), 1pm-2pm. (Click on class title to learn more!)

4 Day Camp: Explore the music of cultures from around the world! Students will discover the history of instruments from different regions and dip their toes in a variety of cultures as they learn to craft homemade instruments and are introduced to the music they make! Each day, students will take home their new creations and gain new knowledge about their origins. Camp runs June 26th - 29th (Monday - Thursday), 1pm-2pm. (Click on class title to learn more!)

Private lessons here at BIMEC are done on a month-to-month basis, giving students the opportunity to begin or end lessons at any month during the year.

Does your whole family love to make music? We offer a $5.00 monthly discount for the second immediate family member enrolled in lessons, and a $10 monthly discount for the third!

Group/Duo Lessons
Are you and a friend or two interested in taking group lesson together, but the group you’re wanting isn’t already available? Then give us a call and set up your own group lessons! We can arrange just a month of group or duo lessons, or we can make it something more long term! Tuition for these lessons is also a monthly flat fee (prices listed below). Select group or duo lessons on the registration form and provide us with additional information about your situation within the form.
Duo Lessons
Are you and a friend or family member interested in taking duo lessons together? Then give us a call and set up your own duo lessons! This is a popular choice for siblings starting at a similar level, or for a parent learning alongside their child. We can arrange just a month of duo lessons, or we can schedule on going monthly duo lessons. Tuition for these lessons is a monthly flat fee (prices listed below). Beginning Group Ukulele Lessons:
For students 8 years old through adult who are just starting out on the ukulele. This semester (4-month) course includes 60 minute weekly lessons focusing on tuning, strumming and fingerpicking basics, chord transition, rhythm and singing practice. The students will play and sing together as they improve their ukulele skills!
Fees:
Registration Fee: $25 BIMEC registration fee
Materials Fee: $15 Ukulele workbook/folder with music and worksheets
Tuition: $300 per semester (or $75 pmts x4)
Sibling Discount: Yes, BIMEC sibling discount policy applies!
Intermediate Group Ukulele Lessons:
For students 10 years old through adult who know how to tune their ukulele and are already able to transition smoothly between the C, F and G chords. Kodály Strings
A complete musicianship string program for violin, viola and cello students. Students attend a weekly private lesson along with a weekly group class. Levels 1-5. Level 1 entry age is between 6-10 years old.

Sound Beginings (age 0-4)
Sound Beginnings is education through musical play for babies and toddlers and a caregiver. Sound Beginnings prepares students for success in Let’s Play Music and in Preschool and Kindergarten!

Let's Play Music (age 4-6)
Let’s Play Music is a fun music theory course where children learn advanced concepts and skills using age-appropriate methods. This play-based curricula takes full advantage of the brain’s ability to absorb musical concepts while having fun. We teach skills using solfege hand signs, folk songs, games, imagination and creativity.

Presto (age 7-12)
Presto is for the beginning pianist, whether they have had a year or so of piano lessons or no piano lessons at all. Presto teaches so much more than piano! We teach COMPLETE musicianship: vocal training, ear training, sight reading, music theory, rhythm, music history, proper piano technique, and we do it in a fun, snappy style that tweens love!!
