SUMMER JAZZ CAMP (4 Day Camp)
Come learn new ways to play your instrument at our jazz camp! Covering the basics of jazz theory and history, choosing the right notes to play when improvising, and more! Students will jam and create together in groups and begin to explore jazz language and culture from some of the greatest musicians in history.
Camp runs June 23rd-26th (Monday - Thursday), 11am-12pm.
MEET OUR JAZZ CAMP TEACHER:
JONATHAN SIMPSON
Jazz Piano
Jonathan Simpson is a jazz pianist hailing from Louisville, KY, where he completed his Bachelor of the Arts in Jazz Piano. During this time, he developed his teaching skills while gaining valuable gigging experience with local professionals.
Since, he has been blessed with many teaching opportunities, and is excited to be joining the Best in Music family!
Tuition: $100 for + $35 registration fee
