LINDSAY DRAPER
Violin
Lindsay’s passion for music began even before her classical violin training at age three. She joined the Sacramento Youth Symphony at age nine and later played with the Folsom Lake Symphony, a semi-professional orchestra, in high school. At age 11 she soloed with the Sierra Symphony as their Concerto Competition winner.
Lindsay has had several opportunities to embark on performance tours to Europe, in middle school with the Sacramento Youth Symphony and in 2022 with the BYU Chamber Orchestra. She completed levels 4-9 of MTAC’s Certificate of Merit for piano and participated in two years of the Suzuki International 10-Piano Concert.
Lindsay has taught private violin and piano lessons for over a decade and has served as an organist and pianist at church, participated in pit orchestras for school musical productions, and performed at formal events. She is currently studying with Alexander Woods at Brigham Young University as she finishes her bachelor’s degree in Violin Performance.
