ELISABETH HOWARD

Cello | Violin | Piano

Elisabeth embarked on her musical journey at an early age, starting piano and violin lessons at 3, followed by cello and voice at 5. Throughout her upbringing, she actively participated in youth city orchestras, choirs, and chamber groups. She sought further musical enrichment by traveling across the United States to study with esteemed cello professors from institutions such as Boston University, New England Conservatory, and Juilliard. Elisabeth's dedication led her to numerous wins in piano festivals, operatic competitions, and concerto competitions with the cello. With 13 years of teaching experience in piano, violin, and cello, she continues to share her passion for music while pursuing studies in Family Life and Music at BYU.

Her primary objective as an instructor is to nurture her students’ musical excellence while fostering their passion for music. Her teaching method emphasizes establishing a strong foundation of proper technique, posture, and practice.
