Kodály Strings
Kodály Strings is a complete musicianship program for violin, viola, cello and bass. Open to children between the ages of 6-12, this engaging program includes both a weekly private and weekly group lesson. This program, developed by Cynthia Richards, uses Kodály principles, including ear training, solfege, singing, games, folk songs, reading and rhythm to develop total musicianship. Group Lessons
Beginning Group Ukulele Lessons: For students 8 years or older who are just starting out on the ukulele. This is a 4-month Semester course and includes tuning, strumming and fingerpicking basics, chord transition, rhythm and singing practice. The students will have tons of fun together as they play and sing and improve their ukulele skills!
Intermediate Group Ukulele Lessons: For students 8 years or older who know how to tune their ukulele and are already able to transition smoothly between the C, F and G chords. This is a 4-month Semester course and includes additional strumming patterns, fingerpicking skill building, additional chords including bar chords, theory instruction, improvisation and arranging, rhythm skills and singing practice.
