EDUARDO ARCE
Saxophone, Jazz Piano
Eduardo Arce is a professional musician, educator, producer, and recording engineer. Born in Costa Rica in 1998, he started learning music at age 8 and has been a full-time musician since 2019.
He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Commercial Music from Snow College Horne School of Music and an artist diploma from the National University of Costa Rica (UNA). He has been mentored by some of the greatest jazz musicians in the United States including Chase Baird, Eric Marienthal, Patrick Cornelius, Carl Allen, and Phillip Kuehn.
He won first place at the Lionel Hampton Jazz Competition in 2023 as lead alto saxophonist and earned the full saxophone scholarship for the Berklee College of Music Workshop in 2017.
He has been a first-call saxophonist and keyboardist for the local music industry in Utah. He also works for Utah Valley University and June Audio Recording Studios.
