CARRIE CHRISTENSEN
Woodwinds | Clarinet
Carrie has been playing clarinet for over eighteen years. She received a Bachelor of Arts in Music degree from BYU in 2021 and has been teaching privately ever since. She has experience playing a variety of musical genres, including classical, jazz, and musical theater, and she has played with various local organizations, including the Utah Valley Symphony Orchestra and Aspen Chorale Orchestra.
Carrie strongly believes in the power of music to connect people across cultural divides, having had the chance to study music in Austria while on study abroad, and the opportunity to teach clarinet while serving as a full-time missionary in Spain. Her ultimate goal as a teacher is to foster a love of learning in her students, and to help her students become the musicians they want to be.
